Cinetcomm has introduced Patrol-Connect at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference, September 27-30th in San Diego. This cutting-edge service provides assured connectivity for the First Responder community, utility and transportation workers everywhere they operate across North America.

The Patrol-Connect system consists of an integrated L-band broadband terminal operating across a secure IP-centric satellite-based backbone, landing at hubs located in the United States and Canada. With 256AES encryption, this FIPS140-2 compliant terminal provides 2-way radio voice, mobile data and vehicle status/location information to dispatchers keeping their field forces “always connected”, all at fixed fleet rates per month.

This system has been operating “live” onboard the Cinetcomm Connectivity Express demonstration platform – a passenger rail car parked at the historic Santa Fe (Amtrak) Depot in downtown San Diego during the conference.
