CINETCOMM COMPLETES MULTI-MONTH EVALUATION OF TOTALCONNEX BACKBONE FOR AGENCY OVER FIRSTNET AND COMMERCIAL LTE

May 25, 2020 – Las Vegas, NV

Cinetcomm has recently completed a multi-month operational evaluation of FirstNet and LTE utilizing the Company’s TotalConnex Network Solution backbone for a major government agency.  Interestingly, this test was terrestrial-based without satellite due to the territory being tested.  Testing included data, vehicle and coverage mapping, plus 2-way radio that was utilized on a daily basis from February through May 2020.

“The testing was an operational success for the Agency” stated Tom Soumas, Cinetcomm’s President and CEO. “Despite interruptions in business due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our partner support enabled us to provide the complete system experience with full mapping, radio services and vehicle status.  The system worked flawlessly throughout the entire test period.”

Cinetcomm’s TotalConnex solution is a hybrid, FirstNet, LTE and satellite-based communications system providing 100% coverage across all of North America. It features a 2-way radio network, broadband data, vehicle location and telematics.  This secure, multi-mode system requires no user intervention to “switch” between transmission methods, providing truly seamless coverage in all operating environments.

CINETCOMM CERTIFIES INNOVATIVE NEW SATELLITE TERMINAL TO WORK ON THE TOTALCONNEX NETWORK

May 20, 2020 – Las Vegas, NV

Cinetcomm has received it’s first Cobham EXPLORER 323 terminals, which have been tested and certified for operation on the Company’s TotalConnex Network Solution backbone. This new solid-state broadband satellite terminal has a phased-array antenna with zero moving parts, thus eliminating the mechanical failures inherent in previous generation mobile terminals.

“After multiple years of development the 323 has finally arrived for service” stated Tom Soumas, Cinetcomm’s President & CEO.  “It was worth the wait! This has the potential to become the new operational standard for our mobile satellite offerings in the Americas.”

The EXPLORER 323 terminal is less than 4 inches tall and 13 inches in diameter. It operates up to 384Kbps, which is perfect for the transaction-based data and telemetry operations used in Public Safety, Utility and Transportation operations.  Cinetcomm is utilizing this as the WAN connection on the Company’s TotalConnex Network.  It can also be configured as an M2M terminal in an Industrial IoT environment.

Cinetcomm’s TotalConnex solution for which this terminal is intended, is a constantly evolving, hybrid, FirstNet, LTE and satellite-based communications network providing 100% coverage across all of the Americas and surrounding Ocean Regions. It features a 2-way radio network, broadband data, vehicle location and telematics.  This secure, multi-mode system requires no user intervention to “switch” between transmission methods, providing truly seamless coverage in all operating environments.

April 1, 2020 – Las Vegas, NV and Douglasville, GA

Cinetcomm has implemented safety protocols to maintain the 24×7 networks used by our Public Safety and other Critical Infrastructure customers during the National shutdown caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.  This includes ongoing coordination between our satellite partners, infrastructure vendors, and Cinetcomm team members.  Most are providing support remotely to ensure continuity of operations for the Company and our clientele.

“We have been fortunate to have team members actually quarantine at our Atlanta International Teleport Hub in Douglasville, Georgia” stated Tom Soumas, Cinetcomm’s President & CEO.  “Despite operational limitations due to the the absence of some personnel, we have been able to operate with zero interruptions in service.”

Cinetcomm will maintain this operational posture indefinitely, as services are used around the clock.  Once things return to some sense of normalcy, projects that were under construction will be completed, though with several months of delay.

Any Agency or Enterprise requiring communications support for their operations can reach out 24×7 to request assistance.  We can bring clients onto the network “virtually” with no-contact service support.

CINETCOMM AND KROYER RACING ENGINES PARTNER TO PROVIDE CONNECTIVITY FOR OFF ROAD RACING TEAMS

November 25, 2019 – Las Vegas, NV

Cinetcomm and Kroyer Racing Engines have joined forces to provide remote connectivity to the Off Road racing community.

Kroyer Racing Engines, (kroyerracingengines.com) the premier builder of off road vehicle engine systems, has developed a telemetry system to remotely monitor vehicle performance, designed to be carried across Cinetcomm’s TotalConnex Network backbone.

Cinetcomm’s TotalConnex solution is a hybrid LTE and satellite-based system providing 100% coverage across all of North America. It features a 2-way radio network, broadband data, vehicle location and telematics.  This secure, multi-mode system requires no user intervention to “switch” between transmission methods, providing truly seamless coverage in all race environments.

The prototype telemetry system was field tested and demonstrated this past week at the Baja 1000 race in Mexico.

To accompany this new service, Kroyer and Cinetcomm are jointly developing a waterproof, ruggedized race vehicle system.  The development effort is currently underway with a scheduled release set for April 2020.

Once fielded, race teams will be able to monitor, communicate with, and control their vehicles on the course, no matter how remote they might be.

“We are very excited to be a part of this innovative approach to communication within the off road racing community” stated Tom Soumas, Cinetcomm’s President & CEO. “Kroyer Racing Engines, who is already a leader in this space, is upping their game to provide never before available information designed to assist teams in making real-time informed decisions and create more successful outcomes.”

CINETCOMM DELIVERS UNIQUE RESPONSE TRAILER TO ADVANCED SHELTER SYSTEMS

August 20, 2019 – Las Vegas, NV

Cinetcomm has just delivered a unique response trailer to Advanced Shelter Systems of Napa, California.   The challenge provided by Advanced was to add a comprehensive satellite- and terrestrial-based communications network for use by many people in a “camp” situation during a sustained response on a highly modified trailer.

This trailer was originally used by the Military.  It had generator and heating/air conditioning.  Advanced Shelter added a 30 shelter camp to the trailer.  The issue was no real estate available on top of the trailer.  Cinetcomm designed and built a communications package with a platform that electro-mechanically raises to horizontal from a resting position on the back of the trailer.  This platform features a Cobham SATCOM 8100 auto-deploy stabilized antenna for the VSAT system, as well as an LTE system for the terrestrial network component.  A secure Wi-Fi hub was added to complete the camp-wide connectivity package.

Advanced Shelter Systems will use this trailer to support customers who respond to disasters and other remote events.  Cinetcomm will provide the operating backbone across it’s North American VSAT Network.
