CINETCOMM IMPLEMENTS TOTALCONNEX FOR TRIBAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY

Chatsworth, CA – October 15, 2015

Cinetcomm has just completed the Phase 1 implementation of its TotalConnex hybrid network solution for a major tribal law enforcement entity in the Desert Southwest region of the United States.  This system will be providing coverage never before possible due to a lack of infrastructure across key portions of the Tribal Nation that kept officers from communicating with dispatch, each other, and assisting tribal members in every day operations.

The TotalConnex system provides a hybrid backbone of 3G/4G/LTE and Satellite across 100% of this nation, with 2-way radio, broadband mobile data and officer tracking/status.  Assuming successful implementation in this phase, the tribe expects to increase the number of units to encompass their entire operations area, which is roughly the size of the State of Connecticut.

“It is amazing to see what technology can do to increase the personal safety and effectiveness of these officers out in the field” stated Tom Soumas, Cinetcomm’s President & CEO. “Creating coverage where none has previously existed will make a real difference in the tribe’s day-to-day operations.  We are proud to be partners in providing this essential service.”

This implementation is one of many projects underway within the Public Safety community to create a safer working environment for remotely dispersed officers, firefighters and EMTs across vast rural distances in the Western United States.
