CINETCOMM AWARDED TOTALCONNEX CONTRACT FOR US FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE

June 30, 2017 – Las Vegas, NV

Cinetcomm has been awarded a multi-year contract from the United States Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Desert Southwest Region 8 to provide its TotalConnex hybrid network solution across this three state region for widely dispersed federal wildlife officers. The Region 8 primary operating area encompasses wildlife refuges across Southern Oregon, Nevada and California.  It will be dispatched out of the U.S.D.A. Forest Service Interagency Dispatch Center in El Cajon, California.

Under this contract, Cinetcomm will build a multi-channel 2-way radio system, provide broadband data service and track the officer’s vehicles as they operate across this very diverse region using the TotalConnex hybrid 3G/4G/LTE/Satellite backbone.

“This TotalConnex system implementation will be the first for a Department of Interior law enforcement agency.” stated Tom Soumas, Cinetcomm’s President & CEO. “We hope it will lead to further adaptation across the various Bureaus within the Department of the Interior”.

This implementation is one of many continuing projects underway within the Public Safety community to create a safer working environment for remotely dispersed officers, firefighters and EMTs across vast rural distances in the Western United States.
